LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Medical Coder for a growing Washington-based organization. In this role, you'll translate patient medical records into ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, ensuring accurate billing processes for patients and insurers.
Responsibilities:
Translate patient data into medical codes
Review medical records for accuracy and completeness
Participate in quality assurance activities for coding accuracy and compliance
Adhere to Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
3+ years of recent ICD-10 coding experience
HS Diploma or equivalent
Medical Coding certification
Proficiency in CPT and HCPCS codes
Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA guidelines
